Red Coven are a Heavy Rock band, straight up heavy. Bombastic chunky guitars, screaming solos and a darkness musically. Citing all manner of heavy influences from Sabbath to Fleetwood Mac these are lots of fun live. They released a single Fan the Flames which is available now.
Fan the Flames starts off with some darkly mysterious guitar and vocals that set build up progressively with some nice harmonies thrown in. The guitar work starts becoming heavier with plenty of lighter moments providing space for the vocals to breathe. A nice downbeat transition section before the track swells to its deep yet still catchy outro. A more tempered and goth sounding offering than you get with the band live but containing some verse and groove.
