Gig Review: Rumours Of Fleetwood Mac – Liverpool Philharmonic Hall – Thursday 17 April 2025

We don’t often review covers or tribute acts but for a change here’s a quick review of top Fleetwood Mac tribute band Rumours of Fleetwood Mac.

This was the first night of 3 sold out nights at the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool for local the local Fleetwood Mac tribute band. The evening started with Mick Fleetwood praising ROFM for keeping Fleetwood Macs music alive.

The band did 2 sets , the first set started off with Gypsy , You Make Loving Fun, Sara and a great version of The Chain. A 50 year old track I’m So Afraid came soon after and the first set ended with Rhiannon. The second set started with four of Peter Greens Fleetwood Macs tracks Green Manalishi, Man Of The World, a fine rendition of Albatross and Rattlesnake Shake. Oh Well was followed by The 80/90’s  Fleetwood Mac singles little Lies, Everywhere, Go Your Own Way and Don’t Stop, came before the encore which comprised of Dreams and rousing version of Tusk where each member had a solo instrumental.

Overall a enjoyable night with ROFM and videos of the real Fleetwood Mac in the background 9/10.
