‘Prairie Wind’ sets the tone, wistful, gentle an introduction to the album and then ‘Honey Boy’ sets off in a more fleshed out vein. There’s Americana sounds aplenty, hints of Kristofferson and some quite country twanging guitars.

‘The Changes Between Us’ introduces a touch of Irishness and ‘Sweet Blue’ returns to a more atmospheric pastiche feel. Throughout there are excellent vocals and particularly emotional harmonies, very tasteful guitars and violins supplement the voices and give the voices space to breathe.
‘Me and My Baby’ is more upbeat lilting piece that maintains the bands ethereal quality but still skips along in a devil may care manner. Starting and ending with storm sounds Carmensita has a poignant simplicity and the final track of the album ‘All This Time’ rounds off whats been an emotional journey.

All the tracks deal with the deep emotions, matters of the heart, yearning and wistfulness collide with notes on loss and love. As a body of work it shows that the group are getting into their stride and have found themselves musically.
