The Sukis were new to me hailing different parts of the UK but now based in Liverpool.Formed in 2020. Top tunes were Cherryade a single from 2021, Becca,,Olivier, and Morning Sun.

The Molotov’s are teenage brother and sister mod revitalist band from London and sounding a bit like an early The Jam and The Who. You could hear Bruce Foxton in the bass, and with Mathew doing the full Pete Townshend arm spin they were not far off the former mentioned bands.

Issey dressed all in red with long flowing blonde hair on bass. Mathew with his strawberry blonde short hair kicked off the album launch with Daydreaming the latest single off the new album. A David Bowie cover Suffragette City .An unexpected change happened when Cal a member of the crowd claimed he could play ” Today’s gonna be our day”just as good as Mathew. It worked well he played it spot on with Mathew just doing the vocals and playing the tambourine The title track off the album and other tracks off the album followed PopStar and Johnny don’t be scared we’re all giving a play. After a short break they came on to do an encore a previous as single ” More More more”. A first for me, an encore at an album launch.
