Where do you begin, its one person and a gargantuan array of retro synth gear, its about an hour and a half long and on one level nothing much happens. Craven Faults, he takes the name and musical influence from the Craven Fault System that gives the Pennines much of its character. The music sets out to embody that Yorkshire Pennine landscape.
Visually, its an array of analogue electronics glowing in the near dark set under a constantly shifting projection of mainly black and white constantly changing sharp shapes interspersed with floating real time projections of what is happening in front of us. Musically its deep repetitive almost classical in its embrace. A near perfect sound at the Capstone adds some perfect definition to it, especially the sub sonics and the vast music machine is used expertly and in a no fuss manner that allow the audience to just enjoy listening to the music.

Although referential of everything from Tangerine Dream and much Krautrock its a unique take on electronica and synthesised sounds to keep interest up throughout the set and actually seems to end far more quickly than my clock would suggest. Well worth attending.
