Writing On The Wall 25, years of Radical Writing. This was the last show of 25 at various venues around Liverpool and surrounding region for the WOWFEST.

John Robb (singer and bass player of The Membranes and Goldblade as well as being an acclaimed author himself) was the host and Dr John Cooper Clarke the guest interviewee.
The evenings talk started with JR asking how JCC got into writing and music and JCC stated that he started out in a band called The Mafia but he couldn’t play bass and sing at the same time.

After that he took to poetry were his first paid gig was a ten minute slot in the Bernard Manning Embassy comedy Club. He stated Bernard Manning was a talented singer and had a full book of gigs.
We had a quick fire Beasley Street, An off the cuff poem about a Lemon Squeeze, A Full Twat and various other quick four line poems. He was asked about his favourite album was, Violetta by Joseph Locke an Irish tenor of ‘I’ll take you home Kathleen’ fame. An enjoyable and comedic evening full of jokes and poems.
